Back in 1995 I was fresh out of college and spending my summertime cruising around from town to town checking out the local street scene. At the time I had a beautiful good 1966 Chevelle. From the surface she looked quite stock and plain Jane, and that is how I liked it.

Chevy Chevelle’s For Sale

I attempted to keep the vehicle as low profile as possible. Unlike the majority of people I didn’t want to put flashy Super Sport badges on my automobile or market that there was anything besides a small block hiding under my hood. My Chevelle which i bought in Pelican AK 99832 had no fancy rims or wide meats protruding of the back wheel wells, just the stock looking rims and a set of Mickey Thompson cheater slicks that might just give a hint to what this vehicle was up to.
If you were to look within my 66 Chevelle you truly would not think much of it simply a clean stock looking black interior with a Hurst 4 speed and three low key evaluates mounted under the dash. Under the hood of my vehicle is where this automobile truly shined. Absolutely nothing fancy hiding under there just a clean stock looking big block Chevy with painted valve covers and a stock looking air filter sporting a 325 horsepower 396 cubic inch sticker label. If you just happened to talk me into lifting the hood for you this is where I had you. Since tucked underneath that stock looking air filter with the 325 horse power sticker was an extremely stout 427 cubic inch huge block Chevy. You can find a Chevelle Like Mine In Pelican AK 99832.
It was this low key look that hooked them, and then it was up to me to reel them in. I remember my pals and I cruised up and down many a main street that summer season. We would travelled my Chevelle up and down the local strips mostly just idling her through, never actually revving her up or getting on it. Just a low key Chevelle attempting not to accentuate ourselves so that we might set our trap.
Lots of a person stepped into the trap that we set that summertime, constantly believing that they were going up against a mainly stock car. Child were they wrong. I did not win every race that summer season, but by the time fall rolled around my little low key 66 Chevelle had quite a name for itself and got the respect that it deserved.

Throughout the 1960s and in the early 1970s, there was a large amount of range for each model year of the Chevelle for sale available to consumers. This was the very first time the American car market had seen a design that tried to be all things to all people. There were convertibles, economy-oriented sedans, station wagons geared for the families, and naturally, the muscled coupes. The Chevelle for sale was also readily available through unique nameplates throughout the years, such as Nomad, Wanderer Custom, Greenbrier, Concours Estate, and Concours.
